[Help] 3 Questions

Postby iCFX » 13 Feb 2012, 16:44

Hiya RMcGirr83 and the Team.

I have few troubleshooting questions for you and hoping that they can be answered

So let me get started. First of all how do I change the colour of the input area box? Is it in the mchat.css document? Iv looked around and couldn't find it. (by input are I mean where you type your message).

Where do I change the buttons? ie the colour of the buttons/size and so forth?

Oh and my last question is about my navbar and conflicts it has with mChat. When mchat is disabled my navbar works correctly, box area lights up to red when hovered over. When mChat is enabled there is no effect on my navbar (nothing lights up on hover, just the text but not the box).

I tried loading up the navbars css from another document besides overall_header.html but nothing. Maybe I should do the same for the script file?

If you need any files to examine, give me a shout. Also you don't have to answer all three questions, id be happy with at least the first 1-2 ^^

My Board: http://www.icfx.vacau.com/phpBB3
Edit: Is it me or my board is down? When I check it on http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ it says it's just me :X

Kind regards, iCFX

That's a rocket theme and is using special css. You have to match the buttons and layout to match that style. You can also remove this line

Code: Select all
Please login or register to view the code within this post

as you already have jQuery loaded with that style from rocket.

Thanks man ;) Just out of curiosity, is my test forum down for you or just me? I can't seem to access it, think it could of been because of the timeout setting in mchat.

The connection has timed out
The server at http://www.icfx.vacau.com is taking too long to respond.

It actually states this

Code: Select all
Please login or register to view the code within this post

but you don't need it as you have jQuery being loaded from the google CDN prior to it and yes, that is in your overall_header for your dominion style.
